Our Excelitas location in Göttingen is the competence center for the development and production of photonic solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this very demanding market, the Göttingen site delivers highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging. In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a wide range of optical and mechanical components to complete optical systems to support scientific research and development and industrial production. Management and monitoring of supplier performance, assessment of risks, assessment and verification of improvement and development measures on the part of suppliers. Cost planning, PPV objectives, assessment of quality expectations with regard to general value creation plans and raw materials. Identify, view, analyze and evaluate goods, suppliers and parts within the respective product family Creating a range of comprehensive commodity strategies and global business plans to meet GCM requirements Qualify suppliers (using global lists of recommended suppliers (RSL)) Close cooperation with the Global Commodity teams (direct reporting structure and matrix reporting) to comply with plans, guidelines and compliance objectives within global procurement Creation of plans of necessary activities to meet all factory-based supplier-specific objectives and requirements Harmonisation and alignment of all raw material activities, where possible, within the global supply chain strategy Determination of KMI, processes, tools and raw material-specific required measurements

Master – or Bachelor degree or equivalent degree in mathematics / finance / economy, engineering, chemistry, biology or a related subject Multiannual, profound experience in supply chain, material management, procurement or goods management Global Regional Procurement Experiences Experiences with quality systems, material management, production, purchasing, sales, cost reduction, project management, R&E, regulation, EH&S, introduction of new products, product transfer management, production increase and/or planning Joy in managing small teams as part of product transfers, outsourcing and internalization projects Embossed analytical and problem-solving capabilities in relation to the management of cross-functional teams Solid knowledge of budgeting, defining standards, deviation and gross margin management Solid knowledge of LEAN, GMP manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S and other quality standards APICS, ISM or project management, quality, LEAN or other certifications are welcome
