The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Saarbrücken is a children's and youth assistance association with stationary and outpatient assistance for education, various measures of youth employment assistance and the child protection advisory centre. These are supplemented by the open work in the family meeting, in a contact point for homeless young people, a project of school afternoon care and the project „Frühe Hilfe“. For our SOS Children's Village Saarbrücken, we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in full-time (38,5 h/w) You strengthen a dedicated team of ten employees and, with professional competence and empathy, make an important contribution to secure and strengthening offers in children's, youth assistance, sports and leisure areas. You carry out preventive offers for children, young people, parents, professionals and volunteers in the sports and leisure sectors – with the focus on self- and health care, dangers through digital media and group-building measures. You work with children, young people affected by violence and advise parents and professionals. You are conscientiously implementing the protection of children and responsibilities.

You have a completed study of social work or a comparable completed vocational training. Ideally, you have an additional training as an experienced specialist according to § 8a SGB VIII (InsoFa) and/or a systemic additional qualification. You bring practical experience in social work. In dealing with digital media as well as their opportunities and risks for children and young people, you are experienced. Your approach to closeness and distance to the supervised young people is professional and reflected.
