IT System / Network Administrator (m/f/d)

Ensuring and optimizing the ongoing availability of our IT systems in two on-premise data centers focusing on Microsoft Tech Stack. Maintenance and continuous improvement of IT service quality including related documentation. 2nd level support for our users with regard to network infrastructure, server landscape and other infrastructure topics. Daily control, administration and optimization of the Veeam backup infrastructure including regular restore tests to ensure recovery. Application management for selected applications including occasional monitoring of night processing. Participation in the design and implementation of infrastructure projects. Active collaboration, management of cloud environments and interfaces. Conception, implementation, operation, monitoring and documentation of the entire network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, load balancers, WiFi components,...). Automation of recurring administration tasks using PowerShell as well as further development of existing automation solutions. Participation in IT security topics (e.g. patching and curing measures, involvement in security-awareness and compliance requirements according to GDPR/BetrVG).

Computer Science Higher Education degree or a very good degree as a specialist computer system integration. At least five years of professional experience in managing and developing data centers around Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, Aruba. Very good knowledge in the field (W)LAN/WAN technologies (firewall, routing, switching, network architecture and optimization). ITIL Foundation knowledge desirable. Good knowledge of German and English. Service orientation, team capacity, commitment, solution competence and a structured working method.
