Your tasks • Your profile • What we offer
You will be responsible for the characterization of mixed‐signal ASICs, covering analog circuits, digital logic, and high-speed interfaces. You plan and execute comprehensive characterization campaigns that validate performance across all operating corners. You independently design, set up, perform, and continuous optimise laboratory measurements to obtain accurate silicon data. You analyze the complex relationships circuit among design, process technology, and measured results to drive insight into block behavior. When measured data diverge from simulation, you conduct systematic debugging and root‐cause analysis to identify and resolve the underlying issues. You develop, document, and institutionalize new measurement methodologies, standards, and best‐practice guidelines for the organization. You automate test execution and data‐analysis workflows using Python, MATLAB, and related tooling. You collaborate closely with the stakeholders and provide technical leadership and coaching to junior engineers
You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a closely related discipline. Several years of hands‐on experience in mixed‐signal ASIC characterization is required. You have deep expertise in analog and digital circuit design, high‐speed interfaces (ADC/DAC, SerDes, etc.), and signal-integrity measurement methods. Proven ability to independently set up, run, and interpret laboratory measurements is essential. You are proficient with complex test equipment search as oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, source‐measure units, and high-frequency tools measurement. Experience in automating measurements and detection data using Python, MATLAB, or similar environments is a must. You can break down complex technical problems into structured analyses and exchange robust, independent solutions. A strong sense of ownership, a high degree of automation, and an uncompromising commitment to quality are expected. Fluent English is required, German language skills are a plus.
