Senior Java Developer - Sales Applications (m/f/d)

You develop and operate our central sales application and thereby actively shape the digital sale of the R+V services, general agents, brokers and banks. Together with the team, you will develop technical concepts, show implementation alternatives and prepare sound basis for decisions – always with a view to stability, performance and viability. You dive deep into our technical platform: from the client server architecture incl. Data storage via the Eclipse-Riena framework and the Wildfly Application Server to cloud-native applications. Developing technical requirements and their independent implementation in high-quality software solutions. Together with the team, you are responsible for productive operation, analyze and eliminate disturbances, and provide a reliable and scalable application through predictive maintenance, automation and monitoring.

Complete study of (economic) informatics, engineering sciences or comparable training in IT – alternatively an equivalent qualification through relevant professional and project experience. Practical experience in software development, especially in the design and implementation of client server architectures. Very good knowledge of Java, Eclipse and JUnit. Additional knowledge of Git, WildFly, Maven, OSGi, SonarQube, Elastic, Spring Boot, Microsoft Azure, Camunda and Kafka are desirable. Structured and solution-oriented operation, high quality orientation and joy in cooperation in agile, interdisciplinary teams. Good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least level C1).
