You conduct a comprehensive literature research on adhesion mechanisms between powder coatings and polyurethane-based filler systems. In addition, you identify and evaluate relevant influencing factors on liability behavior. You plan and implement a laboratory test programme using statistical experimental planning (DoE). You also validate the results obtained on production-representative components and geometries. In addition, you are conducting recommendations to increase process flexibility and production consistency in series production.

You will study aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, process engineering or a comparable field. You have great interest in materials, surface technology and modern manufacturing processes. You also have good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
