Head of Logistics (m/w/d) Chemical Industry

Our client is an established and internationally established company (chemistry industry) with a number of employees in the initial three-digit area at the site. The company is supplier to international customers.

As part of a planned follow-up scheme, we are looking for a leading and communication-intensive manager of logistics (m/w/d) in the Dortmund area, which manages the company's logistics, developing it and acting as a savings partner for the management and shareholders. It expects a diverse leadership position as part of the management team with a high design space within an innovative and sustainable corporate culture. Your report line will be made directly to the management.

Together with your team (approximately 20 MA) in the fields of supply management, logistics, warehouse and shipping, you are responsible for the timely supply of production facilities and warehouse management Working closely with the production management and quality management You act in consulting function of customers and shareholders and control the external logistics service providers You are also responsible for the continuous improvement of process processes and their implementation Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards is also in your area of responsibility

Successfully completed business or technical studies or a comparable development in logistics Multiannual professional and leadership experience in logistics in a manufacturing company Embossed experience in implementing process changes Proactive cooperation with various specialist functions, high solution competence and open and direct communication Very good knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards (e.g. DIN EN ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001, EMAS, ISCC) Embossed IT affinity and knowledge in SAP Convincing, empathic and design-friendly leadership with role model function and experience in accompanying change processes Proactive cooperation with various specialist functions, high solution competence and open and direct communication Flowing German and English skills
