In this role, you take responsibility for the design and implementation of powerful geoIT processes as well as specialist applications. You carry out systematic inventory and request analyses and are actively involved in the development of modern geoinformation systems and geodata bases. Your programming skills are fully appreciated while you opt for existing solutions and participate in challenging projects. You are a creative head and advises our urban offices and private businesses to exciting GeoIT topics. Your expertise is crucial when it comes to developing innovative solutions and shaping the digital future. We are looking for personalities with a completed degree in geoinformatics or a comparable field. If you have excellent knowledge of GeoIT programming and software development, especially in Python, JavaScript as well as in the common map frameworks and API development, you will fit us perfectly. Ideally, you will also bring sound knowledge of geoinformation standards, open source technologies such as GeoServer and QGIS, as well as experience in the application of Esri Enterprise technologies and cloud technologies. Your communication strength in the German language facilitates the exchange in an interdisciplinary team. You have a strong understanding of technical relationships and master common methods of project management.
