Number: MER00040PF The employees of the Mercedes-Benz plant Hamburg develop, plan and produce in the four core fields: Axles and axle components, steering columns, electric drives and components of exhaust gas technology. Future-oriented technologies such as modern assembly techniques as well as the combination of internal high-pressure forming and plastic injection moulding have been further developed at the production site. Their field of application lies in the area of the experiment in the development of steering systems. As part of your activity, you will have the opportunity to get to know adjacent areas and interfaces. These challenges include: Support of experimental engineers Processing into the used measurement technology and evaluation software from the control field steering systems Accompanying complex test series for operator testing Participation in the planning, pursuit and implementation of existing and new trials Evaluation and documentation of tests internally and externally (e.g. vehicle crash) Participation in the procurement, production of new prototypes and pattern structures Accompanying benchmark and patent analysis in implementing new system units Planning and construction of extension of existing system and module units in the test field The activity can begin from September 2026.

Degree course in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working Motivation, craftsmanship and communication skills Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
