Welcome to the Home of IT
REWE digital is the home for everyone who lives technology. As a partner in Tech, we develop solutions for the entire REWE Group and shape the digital future of trading. In a strong network of SAP experts, you work on central processes that significantly influence the stability, security, compliance and efficiency of the Group. As SAP IT Process Owner – IT Change Management, you ensure that SAP-related changes are implemented in a stable, secure, efficient and audit-proof manner. You are responsible for the end-to-end design, control and continuous improvement of the SAP Change Management Process across all SAP systems. You translate higher-level IT process specifications into SAP-specific workflows, roles, activities and tool implementations and make sure that a uniform process is created – without special routes.
What you do with us
You take over the end-to-end responsibility for the Group-wide SAP Change Management Process and continuously develop it to ensure a secure, efficient and auditable change lifecycle. You define and care the SAP-specific process design (activities, process roles, interfaces, tool selection) and tune it with higher-level IT process specifications (“no Lex SAP”). You create, plead and publish binding process artifacts (e.g. process policy, process instructions, process manual, process map, RACI matrix as well as training and communication documents) and ensure their effectiveness in the organization. You make sure that the SAP Change Process is seamlessly integrated into governance, compliance, ITSM/ITIL and security structures, and that it interacts cleanly with adjacent processes (incident, problem, release, operations). You tune process design and changes in a structured manner with relevant stakeholders (including SAP Basis, IT Operations, Security/InfoSec, Areas, Platform/Product Teams, External Service Providers and SGE Representations) and coordinate the cooperation. You are responsible for ensuring that the change process provides clear criteria and procedures for evaluation, prioritization and releases and their compliance. You tax change bodies, prepare decision-making bases and anchor clear responsibilities and decision-making. You monitor KPIs, SLAs and quality indicators, report regularly for process performance and ensure escalation as well as action control for deviations or process violations. You identify process risks and systemic incompliance (e.g. audit-findings), define and control countermeasures and support the regular effectiveness check of IT controls within the IT IKS. You advance standardization, automation and continuous improvement in change management – based on process analysis, audit results and technological developments.
What we do
First of all, your personality: sense of responsibility, strength of communication and the ability to make clear decisions in complex structures. Multiannual experience in SAP change management or process responsibility in the SAP environment; you know transport, SAP basic processes and the peculiarities of complex SAP landscapes. Deep understanding of IT and SAP processes as well as established frameworks (e.g. ITIL/COBIT) and ability to translate superior requirements into SAP-specific processes. Very good understanding of audit, compliance and internal control requirements as well as experience in dealing with auditors:inside and finding (including sustainable action implementation). expressed methodological skills in process modelling, structured documentation and reporting; you can effectively anchor process standards in the organization. Strong moderation and organizational capabilities as well as change management competence (training, adoption, escalation control). Structured, analytical and solution-oriented mode of operation; you also keep track of many parallel change requests. Very good knowledge of German and English; you communicate safely between technical experts:insides, disciplines and governance functions. Ideally experience from regulated environments (e.g. ISO 27001, KRITIS, Finance).
