Your duties

Take responsibility for the transferred area with active participation in endoscopic diagnostics and surgical therapy of our patients Active participation in the development of the clinic and the lung center, in particular in the certification as a DGT Competence Center (Audit early 2024) and as a DKG lung cancer center (in preparation) Interdisciplinary cooperation with all clinic areas and external cooperation partners

It offers the entire spectrum of modern thorax surgery, including diagnostic and interventional bronchoscopy. The robot-assisted thorax surgery with the daVinci-X system is the standard method for anatomical lung resections, thymectomies and diaphragm plastic. Certification as a lung cancer center after DKG criteria is in advanced preparation. The close interconnection of the disciplines in the oncological center as well as within the clinic network allows interdisciplinary operations, rapid diagnosis, short decision-making paths and a guidance-oriented, individually optimized therapy.
