As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. You create and revise technical guidelines for the station control technology of the transformers in the network of TransnetBW. You are a key provider of knowledge (m/w/d) and an expert. Here you will advise project participants on technical topics and accompany quality assurance within the framework of the network construction projects. You have the possibility to choose from a wide range of topics, including: conventional control technology, signal plans, locking, station automation, network technology, OT – security, counting and power quality. You can bring your knowledge to national and international bodies and introduce your know-how to standards and new technologies. You will find out about the current station control technology trends at the manufacturers and evaluate how You could be used in your work area together with your company colleagues. You coordinate external service providers.

You have a bachelor/master degree in electrical engineering or energy technology or bring a comparable qualification. You have good knowledge of the equipment in the high-voltage network and have professional experience with secondary systems (lead technology, control technology, measurement technology). You are ideally familiar with standards such as IEC 60870, IEC 61850 and IEC 81346. You are distinguished by good communication skills, negotiation skills and a targeted working method. You have good language and writing skills as well as a class B licence.
