The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

In the SOS-Kinderdorf Schwarzwald we create a variety of support services such as e.g. children's village families and housing groups, open and school-related work, a daycare centre with hort as well as offers from the Freiburger StrasseSchule, positive living conditions and development prospects for disadvantaged children and young people. For our SOS Children's Village Schwarzwald in Sulzburg we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time (38,5 hours/day) or part-time (min. 30 hours/day)

In our children's village families, we offer up to 6 children and adolescents, who cannot grow up in their family of origin for very different reasons, a loving, family-like environment, and accompany young people with individual educational support. We work in an interdisciplinary team with a differentiated internal specialist service, support each other and, if necessary, rely on the diagnostic-therapeutic expertise of external cooperation partners. Each children's village family and group of homes resides in their own house with the possibilities of individual design. The village community of the children's village families and housing groups is supported by cross-border services of internal and external fall advice, administration, IT and village mastery. Together, we celebrate festivals, support each other and work on inter-disciplinary technical and everyday topics. ''To raise a child it needs a whole village'' (African proverb). We live! On our spacious grounds on the outskirts of Sulzburg and surrounded by forest, we have our own ponies, a sports field, a youth centre, which is used internally and externally, and much more, which contributes positively to the growth of child and youth. In the children's village family Together with the children's village mother, who lives in the house and other team members make everyday life in the children's village family - the supervised children are usually accommodated with us in the long term plan, organize and accompany your daily routine together with children and adolescents and support them in their daily lives for the children you are a reliable and stable reference person to which You can rely the participation of children and adolescents in all processes concerned are of course for you You actively contribute to the structured help and education planning and implement the common agreements in everyday life You design and support development-promoting cooperation with the source system as a reference supervisor for usually 1-2 children, in coordination with the Kinderdorf Mutter and the specialist service, you coordinate all overarching tasks in the absence of the children's village mother (holiday, training, free days) take care of night services with your own or together with other children's village families, you can give the children great experiences on multi-day leisure in the SOS Children's Village of Schwarzwald you will also engage interdisciplinary topics of development and design of the entire institution (quality development, media education, sexual education, child protection and much more)

You have a degree as an educator or a youth and home educator or a social worker*in or a comparable qualification, as well as the first professional experience in the stationary field.
