Based on the product backlog, you as Oracle application developer analyse the customer's technical requirements regarding the technical implementation. You take over the technical conception and design of the software artefacts as well as the database structures, possibly also the entire system architecture. For the design of the user experience, you work closely with the customer, the business consultants and, if necessary, with ergonomic experts. In agile projects, you plan sprints, perform them and participate in the review and retrospective. Typical development tasks: business and technical/scientific applications for different devices (Web, PWA, mobile app, cyber-physical systems) custom modifications and extensions (customizations) for Oracle corporate applications: dialogs, reports, analysis dashboards, process automation Application integration using APIs and integration platforms in the cloud and on premises Extraction, transformation and loading routines for automated data migration

Your tasks in application development include method-compliant documentation, testing and peer testing, and participation in system tests and performance tests. In the transition and commissioning phase, you support data migration and system integration and user acceptance tests. As a technical consultant, you pass on your knowledge in the form of professional advice, coaching, workshops and training to developers and technical system architects of our customers and partners.

Complete studies in computer science, business informatics, information industry or business engineering with IT affinity or a qualified specialist training Required knowledge and practical experience – ideally in Oracle environment: Agile software development Knowledge of database programming (SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, Visual Builder or comparable tools) and Java (Java SE, Jakarta EE) Experience with concepts, script languages and frameworks from the web environment (HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Groovy, Angular etc.) Experience with workflow (BPEL, BPMN) and XML (XML, XSD, XPATH, XSLT) technologies Know-how with service-oriented architectures and web service technologies (SOAP, REST) and SaaS integration via PaaS Ideally, first development experience in the context of a business application software, e.g. Oracle Cloud Applications, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle NetSuite, SAP or SalesForce

Interest in innovative technologies and methods in the areas of digitalization and AI/ML Responsible use of digital technologies and AI with the aim of creating sustainable human user experiences Communication skills, abstraction and structuring ability, care in the creation of documentation as well as good English and preferably also German skills Mobility in project work in Germany and abroad
