Accountant for 4-star hotel with management perspective (m/f/d)

Our client is an owner-guided 4-star hotel in the Alb-Donau-Kreis, about 20 kilometres west of Ulm, which has been offering its guests with 14 employees for 11 years, in addition to accommodation, gastronomy, meeting rooms and regular art exhibitions. The modern building in idyllic area with excellent transport connections is a magnet for business and leisure guests with a four-star appeal.

At the closest possible time, we are looking for a balance sheet holder (m/w/d), who, in addition to the current financial and wage accounting and the creation of the accounts, also receives the possibility of further development into a leading commercial role in the company.

Current financial accounting and production of monthly and annual accounts according to HGB Collection and booking of all business incidents of the hotel, such as income from room bookings, gastronomy revenues or incidental income Payment transactions and creditors/debitors, monitoring of payment receipts from guests and payments to suppliers, accounting and current account balances to avoid liquidity bottlenecks Wage accounting and staff administration for 14 full and parttime employees and mini-jobs Processing of tax returns and coordination with tax advisors, tax authorities and auditors Creation of monthly BWAs and reports for management, analysis of cost centers, monitoring the profitability of the individual hotel areas, controlling and budget planning, target-actual comparison and cost-effectiveness analysis of projects or investments

Closed commercial training, e.g. as a tax specialist, industrial businessman or businessman for hotel management, with further training on the audited account holder (IHK) or a comparable qualification Knowledge of accounting, financial accounting and tax and commercial law Ideally experience in the hotel industry, gastronomy or hotel booking as well as understanding of industry-specific processes Self-employed, structured and careful working with high self-responsibility Safe handling of DATEV and very good MS Office (in Excel) knowledge Embossed communication, organization and team skills as well as discrete handling of confidential data Required: training in the fields of controlling, wage and salary accounting, cost accounting or digital accounting
