As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Senior IT-Architect - Network WAN TDA (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Berlin, Munich, Nuremberg or Rheinbach. We ensure the communication between our customers and ourselves. We are an important and large area of expertise within the BWI and are structured in services (LAN/WLAN, WAN, Security and RAS). In our PoD2 Network department we have full responsibility for how these services are designed and developed. Strategically important decisions for the NETWORK are elaborated here. Here we choose hard and software, develop and test designs, develop improvements of the existing network and continue to build up the challenges of tomorrow with innovative technologies.

Implementation of release tests in the WAN environment Automate Release Tests Problem Management (Second Level Support) Working with the creation of technical concepts Participation in the continuous improvement of WAN services Support for projects with network reference Support for WAN Service Development and Design

Completed studies or comparable training in the IT environment At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in the field of networking (WAN) and very good knowledge of network technologies, topologies and services Knowledge and experience gained with at least one of Cisco, Nokia or Secunet manufacturers Knowledge in the environment of test automation and programming languages (e.g. Python, PyATS or Ansible) Openness to new technologies, IT trends and manufacturers Teamability, Carefulness and Own Initiative Flowing German knowledge in word and writing as well as a thorough understanding of English
