The Evangelical Foundation Tannenhof is a traditional diaconic institution for psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychosomatics, neurology and integration aid in North Rhine-Westphalia. At several locations we accompany people with mental illnesses and disabilities professionally competent, humanly oriented and on the basis of our Christian human image. On 1 April 2027, we are looking for a personality that, as a spiritual leader (m/w/d), forms the three-member board of the Foundation together with the medical and commercial director. The job is accounted for at 50% of the employment rate. We are looking for 1 April 2027 Senior Consultant (m/w/d) – Member of the Executive Board (50 %)

As a spiritual leader (m/w/d), you give the Christian-diaconical self-understanding of the Foundation a recognizable profile. You strengthen the theological and spiritual culture of our house and introduce theological perspective into the strategic development of the foundation. The focus of your operational activity is the pastoral support of patients, clients and employees. Your tasks include: Development and implementation of the diaconic profile and the Christian mission within the corporate culture Development and implementation of theological concepts and standards (e.g. pastoral care concept, promotion of the Voluntary Office) and diaconic value orientation and ethics Responsibility for hospital pastoral care and personal pastoral care of patients – especially in crises, illness and existential issues – as well as clients in housing and integration offers pastoral support of employees Perception of pastoral tasks (e.g. devotions and divine services) Management and further development of the Diakon Community Promotion of cooperation with church and deacons as well as extraction, accompaniment and appreciation of volunteers Participation in the Foundation's strategic development as a member of the Board of Management and trusted cooperation with curatorium, executives and employees

a completed theological training or ordained priest (m/w/d) of an EKD church or a comparable ecclesiastical qualification well-founded pastoral experience, ideally in healthcare, psychiatry or integration aid; Ability to support patients and clients sensitive, theologically reflected and professionally Identification with the Diaconic Order of the Evangelical Foundation Tannenhof Management and design competence as well as joy in cooperation in an interdisciplinary board Connecting strategic thinking and understanding of theological orientation and pastoral attitude estimating communication with people of different professions and living worlds as well as religious expressions independent, reflected and reliable operation
