Your tasks You have a natural protector instinct and trust you to design software? Then come to us and become an important component of the digital transformation. One of the major challenges of digital networking is the protection of our systems and information. As a cyber security specialist*in, you help to protect TRUMPF from cybercrime and develop our products so that they do not need to be afraid of external attacks. For this you will complete a three-year study with a focus on computer science and software development at DHBW Stuttgart or DHBW Mannheim with a deepening IT security. During your three-month semester at the university, you acquire basic theoretical knowledge (databases, operating systems, programming etc.) and special knowledge (cryptology, data protection, IT law etc.). During the practical stages at TRUMPF at Ditzingen (Stuttgart) you will learn about the challenges of software development, application technology and central IT. You independently solve technical problems and work on a project as part of your three-month Bachelor thesis phase. You can also spend up to three months in one of our subsidiaries worldwide.
