For our IT systems & infrastructure department at our site in Essen, we are looking for a

Network Administrator (m/w/d) Ensure stable and secure operation of the BGZ core network at its headquarters in Essen and the connections of the sites Continuous network development in terms of security, availability and speed performing fault analysis and elimination Working with the creation of operational concepts, documentation and tenders

Successfully completed training in the IT sector or alternatively a cross-entry with comprehensive professional experience in the operation of complex, segmented networks (LAN and WAN) Insufficient professional experience regarding the configuration and operation of switches, routers and firewalls of well-known manufacturers (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, Dell, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks etc.) Nominal experience with regard to operation and the disorder of segmented networks as well as static routing, MPLS and 802.1X Ideally well-founded professional experience with the SINA product family Self-responsible, efficient and structured operation Analytical thinkability and a high level of team capacity
