We are the AHORN Hotels & Resorts! As a family-run hotel group with headquarters in Berlin, we are one of the 30 largest hotel chains in Germany. Our 7 hotels are located in the regions of Brandenburg, Lower Saxony, Saxony and Thuringia. One of them is the 3-star superior AHORN Berghotel Friedrichroda with 457 rooms on the 500 m high Reinhardsberg near the well-known hiking trail Rennsteig. Around 150 employees ensure the well-being of the guests.

Presentation and support of the chef operational and professional management of the kitchen team Co-responsibility for the planning, production and preparation of food in the á la carte, banquet and half board area Ensuring compliance with HACCP policies and security requirements Creation of menu and buffet suggestions including costing Co-responsibility for the organisation of goods orders and verification of goods use Responsibility for the correct acceptance, control and quality assurance Support for trainees in the department and the incorporation of new employees and trainees Creation of schedules and daily staff division
