Head of Media Technology

Bischoff Verlag is an enterprise of the New Apostolic Church and combines classical publishing with modern media production and professional broadcast technology. In addition to our publishing business, we operate our own, high-availability infrastructure for internal image and sound transmissions – including studio, mobile transmission technology (Ü-Wagen) and sophisticated streaming solutions.

Use your team to ensure the reliable and high quality implementation of international image and sound transmissions. As part of a succession, we are looking for an experienced personality that continues and strategically develops the field of media technology. In close coordination with the church administrations and the relevant departmental director, you will be able to prepare the media work of the publishing house for the future. In doing so, you coordinate the teams in the indoor service (studio) and outdoor service (Ü-Wagen).

Coordination & content management Content management and coordination of AV teams including training Planning, control and optimization of media processes Contact person for NAK International, District Churches and External Partners Broadcast & Production Planning and coordination of global image and sound transmissions Organization of technology, personnel and processes in the studio and the transmission site Production, Postproduction and Troubleshooting in Live Productions Strategy & Development Conceptual realignment of the area Media Technology in coordination with the regional churches Support, maintenance and further development of the studio and T-Wagen technology Further development of the streaming area and cooperation in work/project groups

Professional qualifications Studies Media Technology/Broadcast Engineering or comparable training Multiannual experience with broadcast/streaming workflows Good knowledge of IP-based systems, networks and AV and streaming technologies Personal strengths Experience in the content coordination of teams and projects Structured and independent working with a strong sense of responsibility Flexibility for use in live productions, even on weekends Good knowledge of German and English Active membership in a church of the Association of Christian Churches (ACK), preferably in the New Apostolic Church
