Traffic engineer Coordination, approval and supervision of major projects (m/f/d)

Thanks to you, the coordination and technical assistance of large-scale projects, such as the S21 transport project and the future Rosenstein city quarter, is ensured, as you take care of the traffic planning and construction of these large-scale projects. Your tasks include the review and evaluation of transport reports for the implementation of large-scale projects In close cooperation with the IT of the department, you design and implement a digital, city-wide and cooperative construction site and coordination management with the aim of optimizing the traffic flow in the capital of the country, and create, among other things, a specification for burdens and obligations You develop a digital information platform for the comprehensive information of the citizens about construction measures You represent the team management of traffic engineers, S21 and Quartier Rosenstein You represent the transport authority at local meetings, meetings, municipal bodies, associations and associations, occasionally also outside the usual working hours, at night and weekends.

A completed study (Bachelor/Master/Diplom-Ing. FH/TU/TH) with at least three years of professional experience in the fields of transport engineering, civil engineering or in a comparable field with the focus on transport (for foreign degrees, the submission of a state recognition is required) knowledge of road traffic law and very good knowledge of the relevant technical regulations (e.g. RSA 21, RUB, R-FGÜ, HBS) as well as in the control of light signal systems (RiLSA); the possession of a class B driving licence Experience in handling traffic planning instruments for multimodal traffic planning and macro- and microscopic traffic modeling (Visum, Vissim) organisational skills, joy in the development of creative solutions for traffic problems as well as analytical and conceptual thinking Fun in the application of digital tools and the further development of innovative processes You have negotiating skills in interdisciplinary cooperation with other offices of the city administration and external bodies; a convincing appearance and a very good linguistic and written expressiveness in the German language (min.
