Our Financial Services division focuses on financial services and supports banks, insurance companies and asset managers to be successful in an ever-changing and fast-paced world.

As part of our Digital Engineering & Emerging Technologies team, you take leadership responsibility in consulting leading financial institutions in three closely linked fields: cloud and data center transformation, Sovereign Cloud & digital sovereignty and IT infrastructure strategy. You control complex transformation projects and develop our growing portfolio of services - together with partners such as Nvidia, and Microsoft. You can do a variety of tasks: Head of End-to-End Cloud and Data Center Transformation Projects: Development of Hybrid/Multi-Cloud Strategies, Migration Roadmaps and Target Operation Models on Hyperscalern (AWS, Azure, GCP) Responsibility for migration planning and control: dependency remediation, data relocation, post-migration compliance validation and quality assurance via EY Migration Accelerators & Playbooks Responsibility for Sovereign cloud engagements over all phases: Plan/Strategy (souvereignity requirements, workload assessment, Vendor evaluation), Design & Build (sovereign landing zones, encryption architectures, IAM, SOC integration) and Migrate (Dependency recovery, Post-Migration validation), and compliance BAIT Head of the development of holistic IT infrastructure and data center strategies: definition of target architectures, resilience requirements, AI infrastructure planning, as well as anchoring in regulatory and supervisory frameworks Development of the EY-Asset portfolio: Sovereign Landing Zone Blueprints, Cloud Provider Archetype Assessor, Sovereign Readiness Assessment Matrix, External Key Management & Encryption Architecture and Migration Accelerators & Playbooks

Complete studies in computer science, business information technology, business engineering, business management or a comparable course of studies and more than 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of cloud transformation, IT infrastructure or data center management Knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), Sovereign cloud concepts (OVHcloud, StackIT) and IT infrastructure strategy, as well as proven project experience in managing complex transformations in financial service providers, deep understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial sector and experience in team and project management Very good communication skills in German (at least C1 level) and English
