Visual systems are the key to defense. True to the motto ''We sense the battlefield''', we develop state-of-the-art visual systems at the Bremen site in order to understand the situation and thus increase the security of our armed forces In this position, you take over the overall technical responsibility for complex large-scale projects and control all technical aspects throughout the entire development and project life cycle. You act as a central interface between customers, internal departments and external partners and ensure the successful implementation of sophisticated technical solutions. Your duties General responsibility for the technical management of complex systems and subsystems in large projects Control of requirements management, system architecture, specifications and system integration and testing Planning, preparation and control of technical concepts, work packages, schedules and scales Technical leadership and coordination of the technical development team and management of suppliers and subcontractors Conducting technical reviews, risk, claim and quality management as well as participation in system qualifications and decreases Presentation of technical results and negotiation with customers, partners and stakeholders in the international environment

Completed technical university studies (e.g. engineering or comparable discipline) Multiannual experience in system engineering and long-term technical management of (large) projects, ideally in the military environment Experience with systemic tools, requirements and project management software of advantage English language and written knowledge (in particular English) Representative leadership, negotiation skills and high intercultural competence and communication strength Global readiness
