The “DRV-IT rvSystem” principle and cross-sectional area is responsible for the development and further development of the German pension insurance IT core system. It combines management, technical and technical expertise to make the system legally secure, modern and forward-looking and implement new requirements. In addition to project management and control, information security, modern services for insured persons and the establishment of a new core system (rvEvolution) are among the tasks. The Business Continuity Management (BCM) forms a central pillar within the department to ensure operational resilience and contributes significantly to maintaining critical business processes in crisis situations.

You build up and continue our business continuity management, protect business-critical processes and ensure that we remain operational in crises. You design and develop our BCM framework for our new core system – in line with regulatory requirements and our corporate objectives (e.g. ISO 22301, BSI Standard 200 4) – further Your expertise proves you when performing Business Impact analyses and risk analyses and identify time-critical processes, dependencies and potential vulnerabilities Developing, nursing and testing emergency and restart plans are implemented in close cooperation with specialist departments and IT – including regular exercises You help to establish our crisis management structures and moderate exercises as well as training We rely on your know-how to further promote company-wide resilience culture by communicating risks and measures to address The activity is linked to occasional, well-planned nationwide missions to a small extent.

Completed scientific higher education (Diplom University or Master) for example in business, computer science, engineering or similar degree Multiannual experience in business continuity management or crisis/risk management, ideally in regulated industries (including financial services, energy, public administration) Knowledge of relevant standards and standards (e.g. ISO 22301, BSI standard 200-4, IT basic protection) Experience in project and process management, in particular in interdisciplinary contexts, is desirable. Knowledge of agile procedures and methods (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) Certifications such as BCM practitioners, PMP or Prince2 Good knowledge of IT-Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Ability to analyze complex risks in a structured manner and to derive clear recommendations for management and disciplines To represent clear decisions in critical situations, including experts or executives, and to remain solution-oriented translator*in regulatory requirements in implementable measures with and for our IT areas
