Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in the Clinic and Polyclinic for Neurosurgery

At the earliest possible date, the body must be permanently employed in full and parttime employment for at least 19 months. Remuneration takes place according to the classification rules of the respective domestic collective agreement and is possible in the case of the personal conditions in the remuneration group U 9a.

Needs all your skills - your area of responsibility: In our neurosurgical research laboratory, your tasks include the execution and analysis of histological dyeings, the development of protocols and the incorporation of new employees into histological techniques. They take over the recording of microscopic image data sets (including autofluorescence and coloured preparations) and take care of the regular maintenance of microscopes. In the field of spectroscopy, you carry out measurements using Raman and infrared spectroscopy. They are also responsible for the application and care of cell and organoid cultures, including the production of organoidene from patient tissue and their cryoconservation. In addition, you take over general laboratory activities such as the conservation of biomaterials, the support of doctoral students and the ordering of laboratory products in SAP.

Perfect - Your profile: completed training as medical-technical assistance, biology laboratory technician or comparable degrees Comprehensive experience and expertise in (immune)histological methods incl. Development protocols for new antibodies Experience in the operation of fluorescence microscopes and recording of corresponding image data records Experience in cell culture Basic knowledge of neuropathology Basic knowledge of specialist English independent operation targeted methodical working style and excellent organizational skills Social competence and flexibility
