Consultant for target group-oriented pastoral care with a focus on queer pastoral care (m/f/d)

Develop pastoral: You take part in the further development of a concept of target group-oriented pastoral in the Diocese of Münster with special focus on queer life and LSBTI*Q. Networks support: You support networks, working groups and bodies as well as associations, associations and initiatives that deal with the concerns of queer people in ecclesiastical contexts. Professional accompaniment: You accompany employees and volunteers as well as volunteers professionally in the corresponding pastoral field of action. Strengthen Discurability: You support the further development of language and discretion in the pastoral context and the further development of public relations. You participate in the (Church-)political representation work in the Diocese of Münster and on the over-diocesan level as well as in the monitoring of church and social developments. Project reference: You take over the technical support of the project “People’s reputation – The history/n of queer people in the Diocese of Münster”. Promoting cooperation: You promote cooperation, networks and exchange formats within the diocese and with universities, universities and other strategic partners.

You have completed university studies in social and educational sciences, theology, social education or comparable qualifications. You bring well-founded knowledge and experience in the field of LSBTI*Q as well as in dealing with ecclesiastical structures and discourses. You have experience in networking and educational work. You have the ability and willingness to cooperate with volunteers. You show openness for innovative forms of pastoral work and interest in the further development of target group-oriented concepts. You show a high degree of sense of responsibility and discretion. You are team-ready and efficient. You are characterized by organisational skills, communication strength and self-initiative. The MS Office products Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint are familiar to you.

Remuneration takes place according to the remuneration group 13 of the Church Employment and Remuneration Regulation (KAVO) and, depending on the professional experience, is currently between 2.314.38 Euro and 3.317.72 Euro gross at 19.5 hours per week.
