Engineer for the Stadt-Umland-Bahn (StUB) project

We are looking for a full-time 01.07.2025 for our civil engineering office Engineer*in for the project Stadt-Umland-Bahn (StUB) The Stadt-Umland-Bahn project is one of the largest infrastructure projects in the region. The aspects of environmental friendliness, accessibility and modernity are at the heart of all planning. Due to the size and complexity of the project, there is a wide-ranging impact on existing traffic facilities in the city of Erlangen. They are part of a cross-border project group and represent overall the interests of the civil engineering office as road load carriers.

Testing, evaluation and development of the StUB Planning from the perspective of the road load carrier under technical, planning, operational and economic aspects Processing and maintenance of design and execution and approval planning of transport systems, engineering structures and other road components, taking into account the city's own projects Accompanying the implementation of measures by the StUB Association of Purposes, including the creation of engineering contracts and applications for assistance or cross-border agreements Preparation and participation in (departmental) events with citizens or other bodies, public relations

Graduate degree as a Diplom-Ingenieur*in (FH) or Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Construction Management and the career skills of the third level of qualification of the technical course “Naturwissenschaft und Technik”, special focus on engineering and environmental management, field of road and engineering, traffic management Knowledge of Contract and Honorary Law (VOB / HOAI) Practical experience in the tendering, awarding and handling of construction and engineering services as well as knowledge and experience in the field of bridge and engineering Multiannual professional experience in project management is desirable, ideally in public administration Efficiency, initiative, negotiation security and economic thinking and working methods
