We support the operational units in the operation of the sustainability strategy by advancing (pilot) projects in the field of renewable energies, resource efficiency and circular economy. Based on the experience gained from the pilot projects, we propose sustainability standards and further recommendations for action on the strategic development of the Group along the entire value chain. Our task is also to create and update a Group-wide sustainability roadmap for the Group's target 'climate neutrality by 2040''. This ensures target orientation, measurability and development of best practice approaches for the group-wide implementation. You work in preparing and implementing work packages in projects on the topic of ecological supply chain. You support project management in coordination and organization. You carry out research and create presentations on sustainable topics. You will test supplier queries and assist in their response. You participate in the development of strategies to reduce CO2 footprint. You actively shape the implementation of regulatory requirements.

You study economics or engineering with the focus on sustainability. You have already gained first experience in the field of sustainable supply chain or sustainable purchasing – ideally in the construction industry or in the manufacturing industry. Ideally, you bring knowledge in the development and implementation of science-based goals and corresponding standards such as the Science Based Targets Initiative. You think analytically and have a good understanding of complex relationships. You have well-founded knowledge in MS Office, especially in Excel. You have very good German knowledge on at least B2 level – both oral and written – you can express yourself safely and in a situation-oriented manner and also have good English skills. You learn quickly and enjoy exploring new topics. You like to work in the team and draw a good communication skills. You burn for environmental and sustainability issues and bring passion in this area.
