Number: MER00044SP The staff office around the Director of Compliance Programs and ESG is responsible for the cross-departmental management of strategic sustainability issues and the further development of the Group-wide ESG approach. As a central interface within the Board of Management’s Integrity, Governance & Sustainability, the team coordinates interdisciplinary projects, shapes the internal field culture and supports strategic communication as well as committee work to the board level. The following exciting tasks await you in the internship: Support for the design and implementation of cross-departmental ESG projects, including the “Mercedes-Benz Sustainable Business Strategy”

Participation in the preparation, organisation and moderation of internal exams, events and committee meetings

Research activities on current developments in the field of ESG, compliance and sustainability

Support for internal field communication and the creation of presentations and communication documents

Insights into the strategic control and performance measurement of ESG initiatives

Working with special projects and impulse formats

Degree course in the field of law, business or economics, economics or comparable disciplines focusing on business ESG or compliance

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Team skills and a friendly appearance

Intercultural competence and a secure sense for different perspectives
