As a quality engineer with focus on welding technology and sheet metal engineering Within a decentralized production area, you contribute significantly to ensuring and continuously improving our component quality. Conducting quality-relevant tests and controls on welding assemblies and sheet metal components Assessment of welding seams, qualification of welding processes and monitoring and documentation of welding processes Testing of geometrical and mechanical requirements for sheet metal components Accompanying manufacturing processes such as cutting, welding, punching etc. with regard to quality requirements independent supervision of quality topics within a production area in close coordination with central quality assurance and other interfaces Error analysis and complaint management: implementation of causes analyses, participation in corrective and preventive measures

completed technical training with further training as a technician focusing on welding technology, mechanical engineering or metal engineering Additional qualification as a welding specialist (SFM) or comparable qualification well-founded knowledge in welding and sheet metal engineering relevant experience in handling testing and measuring technology and technical drawings independent, structured and team-oriented working safe handling of MS Office and ideally ERP/CAQ systems Communication strength and enforcement capacity in the production environment
