Project Engineer – Industrialization New Products GARDENA (m/f/d)

Head of sophisticated investment and technology projects, including budget management, appointments and technical decisions (including make/buy) as well as structured implementation to project success

Project responsibility for the industrialization of new products, especially at our production sites in Germany and the Czech Republic, with the aim of ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in line with the Premium Brand Gardena

Consultation of development, quality and production including evaluation of manufacturing feasibility and derivation of clear requirements for modern, automated series production

Designing efficient manufacturing processes: planning material flows, developing process layouts and developing assembly concepts with a strong focus on efficiency, automation and digitalization

Design of machinery, equipment and equipment, including solutions from own development and own special machinery construction: Responsibility for technical design, preparation of specifications, procurement processes and acceptances

Coordination of the commissioning of new machines and lines as well as support of the entire start-up process – from the first prototype to the zero series to the stable series production

Identification and integration of new technologies, innovative materials and automation solutions to continuously develop our production

Complete technical studies, e.g. business engineer, mechanical engineering or production/production technology

Finded professional experience in a comparable position, focusing on industrialisation of large series and technical consumer goods

Practical knowledge in the planning and optimization of complex manufacturing processes in a modern, automated production environment

Experience in design, procurement and commissioning of machines, also from our own special machine construction

Sovereign project management with routine in budget, appointment and stakeholder control as well as a structured and targeted way of working

Safe application of lean methods and experience in developing efficient production layouts

Enthusiasm for modern manufacturing technologies, automation and data-based decision bases

Analytical, solution-oriented and communication-strong personality that is motivated to achieve real improvements across the site in the team

Secure handling of SAP and MS Office as well as very good German and English skills
