Microsoft 365 was rebuilt in 2026 and is currently in the implementation phase. We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer (m/w/d) on behalf of our client for further development and the sustainable technical responsibility of the platform.

You take over the technical development, automation and safe operation of the Microsoft-365 environment and bring your expertise in particular during the ongoing implementation phase hands-on. The focus is on the design, implementation and optimization of solutions around SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Identity & Access Management and Conditional Access. In addition, you will design solutions and standards for Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Intune, Microsoft Defender and Compliance and Governance. Existing processes and configurations are analysed with regard to technical and organizational optimization potentials and automate recurring administrative tasks, for example with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph. In the further development of standards, governance and security concepts, you bring your technical experience as well as the introduction of additional Microsoft-365 services, security features and copilot solutions. As a technical interface to internal departments and external service providers, you also take project management tasks and translate technical requirements into sustainable technical solutions.

You have several years of relevant professional experience in the Microsoft-365 environment and have already worked in larger M365 environments and accompanying their implementation or further development. Ideally, you have a degree in computer science or economic informatics or a comparable qualification. However, other training paths are also welcome with a correspondingly pronounced Microsoft-365 expert. You bring particularly well-founded practical knowledge in SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID or Identity & Access Management and Conditional Access. Ideally, you could also gain experiences with Exchange Online, Intune, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Graph as well as in the areas of compliance and governance. Additional expertise in PowerShell and Microsoft Purview would be a clear plus. In addition to technical depth, you will be able to gain a good understanding of business processes, a structured and self-responsive way of working as well as reliable German knowledge. In exchange with specialist areas, you can understand requirements, classify them technically and transfer them together with different contact persons into suitable solutions.
