The Charging Unit within Mercedes-Benz AG plays a central role in designing a unique customer experience away from the battery and the drivetrain. In this internship at the Finance & Controlling Charging Unit team, you will actively participate in the further development of this ecosystem and gain valuable experience in the electrifying world of Mercedes-Benz. A mandatory internship in the Controlling eMobility at Mercedes-Benz means new challenges and variety every day. Our department is responsible for finance and controlling for our projects that create a holistic charging experience for our customers – from public to home to depot charging worldwide. You will gain a variety of experience in project and product controlling, equity controlling, budget planning and data management. You work closely with colleagues from Research & Development, Legal, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, Marketing/Vertrieb and M&A. As an intern with us, you are a full team support with independent tasks and goals. We will help you with advice and action. Your tasks and responsibilities: A variety of tasks await you in your varied and challenging internship: Product and Project Controlling: You create, update and analyze business plans and develop a cost reporting

Budget planning: You plan operating and strategic budgets, accompany the planning process and keep the actual values

Participation controlling: You enter into existing strategic investments and support new transactions in close coordination with finance and specialist business partners (including business assessment of business cases)

Management documents: You prepare top management documents and briefings for internal bodies

Reporting structures: You build reporting structures in SAP, TM1 and MS Power BI and develop them further

Project support: You support cross-border projects within the Charging Unit

Your profile: With the following experiences and qualifications you are best prepared for your challenge with us: Business-oriented studies or a comparable degree course, also with a focus on finance

Best first experiences in Finance & Controlling

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office, SAP R/3 and MS Power BI desirable

Knowledge of the creation and analysis of business plans is advantageous

Enthusiasm for electric mobility

Commitment, team skills and analytical thinking

Good time management and self-organized and structured work
