In this role, you will significantly shape our hardware and embedded systems. You take a central responsibility in the design, design, implementation and testing of modern FPGA-based solutions as well as in the care and development of existing systems.

The working time model for this position is: Hybrid

You are mainly responsible for:

Development, implementation and testing of complex FPGA and SoC architectures Creation of VHDL-based designs and development of verification environments Implementation of simulations, timing analyses and hardware validations Development of embedded software on microcontrollers Support of the hardware design team (switching and layout reviews, tests, documentation) Product care and continuous development of existing systems Cooperation with internal and external interfaces and close coordination with hardware and software teams Ensuring high quality standards and structured development processes

Complete study of electrical engineering or a comparable degree programme 6–10 years of professional experience in FPGA and SoC development Knowledge of FPGA/SoC architectures and design (AMD/Xilinx, Altera, VHDL) Safe handling of popular FPGA development tools (Vivado/Vitis, Quartus, ModelSim) as well as Python and TCL Experience in embedded software development (PIC, ATMEGA, STM32, MicroBlaze) Good knowledge of classic hardware development and hardware design tools (e.g. mentor expedition) Embossed communication and team skills as well as independent, analytical and structured work English in word and writing and German fluent in word and writing
