Then let us get in touch: As an internal IT department, the information technology department serves all employees of the CFM. For our over 200 servers, approx. 1600 client workstations and over 80 applications we take over all IT-side services from First Level Support via system administration, product consulting and IT project management.

We are looking for an IT system administrator for our team, with an average weekly working time of 39 hours as: IT system administrator:in (m/w/d). Work at the interface of modern IT infrastructure, IT security and professional coordination – in the strong team of a Charité subsidiary.

Administration and development of the server infrastructure with a focus on virtual Windows servers (optionally also Linux servers), installation, configuration, migration, user and rights management Ensuring stable and secure systems through patch, update and vulnerability management as well as implementing security and compliance measures according to recognised standards, ideally BSI 2nd and 3rd level support and support in the administration of virtualization environments (VMware/ESXi), database systems (SQL server), SAN and backup systems Implementation and support of monitoring tools (such as PRTG) for proactive monitoring of IT systems and interfaces Implementation and management of monitoring tools for proactive monitoring of the server environment and interfaces

Qualification: completed vocational training or completed studies in the IT field or alternatively first professional experience in the field of IT system administration Experience and safe handling in the administration of central virtual servers, predominantly Windows servers, supplemented by Linux server systems Experience in virtualization (VMware/ESXi) and database systems (SQL server) is desirable Ideally certification in the field of Windows and/or Linux (e.g. MCSA, LPIC) or comparable practical experience Good knowledge of German language (language level at least C1) Fun on communication and a customer and result-oriented operation Residence should ideally be Berlin or nearby Willingness to take over call readiness services
