You have the strategic and operational management of the unit and create structures to ensure that the IT services required for the state administration are provided reliably and performantly As Head of the Unit, you will be a proactive and cooperative team leader. The unit currently consists of 3 teams with a total of 35 employees You continuously develop the unit and IT services from strategic, business and technical perspectives and follow the diverse topics of the department You support BITBW in the further development of the service portfolio in the field of modern cloud-based solutions With your teams, you shape the transformation of regional administration into the cloud You guide your employees professionally and disciplinaryly, accompany them in change processes and ensure potential and demand-oriented personnel development You are responsible for basic unit issues (e.g. budget responsibility) and represent the topics of your unit in committees and in meetings with customers and external service providers

You have a university degree or an accredited master's degree from another university (qualification for the higher service) e.g. the field of computer science or business informatics or another suitable course of study You can also apply if you have equivalent skills and experience due to your vocational training or due to your professional qualifications and multiannual relevant activities You can ideally demonstrate professional leadership skills as well as experience in managing and implementing IT projects in the public sector or in a comparable regulated environment and at the same time convince with strong competencies in the areas of economic and entrepreneurial action. The high-availability IT system operation is part of your experience background as well as the understanding of Microsoft Server infrastructure and directory services.
