Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Would you like to introduce your sales tax expertise in an international environment? In this responsible role, you take over the complete sales tax support of the Goethe-Institut: from the analysis and evaluation of complex national and international issues, to the further development of the technical conception, to the technical integration into our SAP systems. You collect, evaluate and document relevant facts in the Goethe-Institut on a monthly sales tax basis in compliance with the legal requirements and the tax compliance guidelines You will also ensure the correct tax treatment of national and international business incidents and will work towards the implementation of tax obligations in EU and third countries with You support the further development of the sales tax conception, create a user manual and accompany the integration and adaptation of tax processes in financial systems (SAP ERP, SAP BI/BW – from 01.01.2027 SAP4Hana) In addition, you take over the monthly sales tax pre-registrations, the preparation of the annual sales tax declaration, the related final work, and further notifications and the guarantee of the timely payments You coordinate global internal enquiries, work closely with tax advisors, clarify complex issues and perform organisational tasks such as workshops and internal training, as well as requesting certificates from financial authorities

You have completed academic studies preferably in BWL or Jura with a focus on tax law or equivalent skills and experience In addition, you will bring very good knowledge of tax principles and relevant accounting and administrative provisions (HGB, BHO, UStG, EStG) with You have extensive experience in assessing tax issues at European and international level as well as multiannual management experience in administrative work in Germany and/or abroad You will also bring well-founded knowledge to SAP‐ERP, SAP‐BI and secure handling of Microsoft Office with You work independently, analytically and systematically and convince by team skills, enforcement and persuasiveness
