Working Student Digitalization & Business Analysis – Distribution Network Leipzig (m/f/d)

You participate in the development of a database-based, cross-media planning platform for construction projects in the network infrastructure. You accompany the project throughout from the technical request recording, the modeling of data and processes to the introduction and further development of the system. You analyze and model actual and target processes. You test new features from a professional perspective, document deviations and develop suggestions for improvement. In conversations with the departments, you analyse their requirements and translate the results into professional plug letters and user stories. You develop professional prototypes and test them with real project data. About 20% of your working hours work in the construction project management and gains a direct insight into the project business You work on strategically relevant digitalization topics of a distribution network operator and thus make a concrete contribution to the energy transition in Leipzig.

You are impersonated in the field of economic informatics, computer science, economic engineering, electrical/energy technology or a comparable course of study. You can safely move between business and technology: databases are familiar to you, programming skills are welcome, but no requirement. You have German knowledge on C1 level, as you work at the interface to different disciplines and take up and document requirements of different stakeholders. You are interested in business processes, digital systems and their interaction and have first contact points with process modeling or request analysis. You will be happy to communicate with different contact persons and ask specific questions to understand and question technical relationships. You want to gain insights into system landscapes, investment controlling and the handling of construction and infrastructure projects. You work structured, independent and solution-oriented.
