In a leading role, you will take over the Working Group on Electrochemical Methods and Processes in the Department of Mobile Energy Storage and Electrochemistry. The group is located at our location in Dresden, and the extensive infrastructure at our locations Fraunhofer Technologiezentrum is also available for high-performance materials in Freiberg as well as at the Fraunhofer Center for Energy Storage and Systems ZESS in Braunschweig. The research and development work focuses on the development of electrochemical characterization methods and electrochemical treatment processes. Work on behalf of German and international companies and together with project partners For example, they have novel approaches in the field of electrochemical analysis of battery stores or for electrochemical methods for obtaining raw materials. The excellently equipped laboratories and facilities as well as the possibilities of the Fraunhofer IKTS support your work. Furthermore, you actively shape the economic and scientific success of the working group and support the development of industrially relevant services. They conduct the working group in a disciplined manner and are responsible for their continuous scientific and human development. This includes the support of student and scientific work. In addition, you are responsible for the acquisition and processing of new projects in direct order by industrial partners as well as public funding. Together with other groups of the department and the Fraunhofer IKTS, your team will work on new solutions for innovative electrochemical technologies.

Reference number: 79685 You have successfully completed your academic studies (preferably with doctoral studies) of chemistry, in particular physical chemistry or electrochemistry, material science or comparable discipline, and have several years of practical experience in electrochemical technologies or battery development as well as management experience (e.g. as project or team leader*in). In addition, you have the intrinsic motivation to bring innovative ideas from development into implementation and application to shape the requirements of future electrochemical technologies together with our partners from industry and research.
