Editor / Programme Manager Manhwa (m/f/d)

You scout new Manhwa titles, analyze international trends and find strong licenses for our program. You plan the program for Manhwa Cult and enter your titles from shopping to publication. You'll take over editorate, correctorate, and the coordination of translations and lettering, with external partners for clear briefings and smooth processes. You work closely with internal teams such as graphics, marketing, social media, sales and production and provide all relevant information for previews and metadata. You write texts for marketing and communication and introduce creative ideas for newsletters & community formats.

You have a language or spiritual studies or a comparable editorial training. You know the Manhwa market, track trends and recognize relevant licenses. You have very good knowledge of German, English and ideally good Korean and have a safe language feeling for editorate, correctorate and translation evaluation. You work independently, structured and reliable. You are strong in communication and work well with Freelancers.
