For the organization unit MF operating systems and system-related SW, we are looking for the next possible appointment for the Hannover or Münster site Mainframe System Programmer (z/OS) (m/w/d).

The department is responsible for planning, testing, provision, care and load-level service of all mainframe operating system components (z/VM, z/LINUX, z/OS, Unix System Services) as well as many system-related software components on the z/OS platform. In addition, the provision, administration and optimization of the high availability solution GDPS from IBM and all components of the mainframe network commutation are also included.

Complete study of IT or vocational training with a focus on system integration or comparable qualification At least 6 years of professional experience in z/OS system programming, GDPS and other z/OS components Very good practical knowledge of basic methods of system programming in the z/OS environment (e.g. SMP/E) Good general knowledge of the Mainframe Platform (architecture, functionality, special features) Good knowledge of English for communication with software manufacturers and for the use of English-speaking specialist literature Good communication and coordination capability Ability and willingness to take on call and work outside normal working hours
