Your tasks:

• You are responsible for creating day-ahead prognoses / schedules for our energy procurement
• You develop new processes for forecasting, quality assurance and earnings assessment and establish them in the company in a sustainable manner
• You coordinate the technical and responsible for the technical implementation of energy data and forecast algorithms in close cooperation with internal and external partners
• You analyze existing data structures and develop strategies to improve data quality and availability
• You build and run a continuous monitoring and reporting system to assess forecast quality

Your profile:

• You have a completed (master) degree in the field of energy, economic engineering, data science or a comparable qualification
• You bring several years of experience in the energy industry, optimally in balance sheet management and timetable management, in the production of energy consumption forecasts or in energy trading
• A safe handling of databases, the handling of large amounts of data and their analysis, optimally in the energy-economic context, distinguish you
• MaBiS, GPKE, as well as EDIFACT communication are not foreign words for you
• Optimally, you can facilitate your work with VBA, Google Apps Script, Python or SQL
• You convince by team spirit, communication strength and a high degree of self-initiative
