We are an innovative private institution of children and youth assistance, founded in 2002, with coordinated outpatient, semi-stationary and stationary aids from a single source. We are looking for a full-time pedagogical specialist to complement our team of trauma pedagogical psychology practice in Bückeburg.

Trauma pedagogical-psychological practice combines outpatient assistance with expert advice and support within an interdisciplinary field.

The tasks include the independent implementation of outpatient assistance in the context of external contracts, as well as the professional support of various areas of the institution.

A special focus is on parental and family work. This includes the advice and support of parents in different situations of life, the implementation of family talks, as well as parents and couple talks. In addition, the design, accompaniment and professional reflection of contact between children and their parents or Origin systems to the task field. Another part of the work is the need-oriented individual work with children and adolescents in order to promote development processes and to relieve pedagogical teams in challenging situations. Other key areas of activity are counselling for children, young people and adults who have had traumatic experiences, and for those who accompany them. In addition, the activity includes the implementation of diagnostic procedures, in particular social pedagogical family diagnosis and binding diagnostics, for the sound assessment of resources, needs and development processes.

Your profile: Completed pedagogical training or a corresponding study (Dipl., B.A., M.A.) with state recognition in accordance with the requirements of the Lower Saxony Youth (e.g. Social Education, Social Work, Education, Psychology, Medical Education, Childhood Education, Special Education, Education, Educational Sciences, Teachers* In addition to your basic qualification, you have a relevant further education, for example in trauma consulting, systemic advice, experience education or animal-assisted intervention.
