You play a central role in technical operation and in the further development of our IT infrastructure: Planning, operation and development of the network environment (LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN) Administration of firewall, routing and switching systems Operation of virtualized server and storage infrastructures Ensuring availability, performance and stability of systems Responsibility for backup and recovery strategies Technical management of infrastructure projects Control of external IT service providers Support for IT leadership in architectural and technology decisions Coordination of escalations from the 1st level support

Training or studies in the IT sector (e.g. Multiannual proven practical experience in network or infrastructure administration Good practical knowledge of:

• Routing / Switching (including VLAN segmentation)
• Firewall & VPN (in particular IPsec / SSL VPN)
• Network security & access control
• Virtualization
• Backup & Recovery Experience in structured IT operation ITIL knowledge Manufacturer certifications or comparable technical qualifications (e.g. Sophos, Aruba or comparable network technologies) Good knowledge of German in word and writing on at least B1 level In addition, bring: Self-employed and solution-oriented work Joy in taking responsibility Experience in the local environment or KRITIS-close organisations Experience with technologies and manufacturers such as Sophos, Aruba, Proxmox VE or Veeam are beneficial
