Number: MER00040X6 The Mercedes-Benz Cars Purchasing & Supplier Management (RD-MP) division is responsible for an annual purchase volume in the double-digit billion range as well as the purchasing part quality of all vehicles. In partnership with around 1,500 suppliers in Germany and abroad, the necessary materials are provided for the worldwide production plants of Mercedes-Benz Cars/Vans. Locations in Germany, South Africa, China, India, Mexico and Argentina ensure close proximity to production. New challenges exist in particular in the areas of autonomous driving, connectivity and alternative drives. The Center RD-MP/R introduces itself: We are “made of steel”! Made of aluminium and steel, the body – raw materials and body sizes form the cornerstone of each vehicle. We are responsible for both purchasing and quality assurance of these components as well as industrialization management with focus supplier quality and supplier capacity for the entire RD-MP area. We are diverse! – In the context of industrialization management, we define and improve methodological foundations for early and preventive safeguarding of industrialization processes, as well as the supplier's ability to deliver and, on the other hand, also support the local supplier in risky projects. We control RD-MP in the future. The processes and systems of tomorrow are our business today. These challenges include: Working with the method and process development in supplier capacity management Independently responsible further development of the internal communication concept Acquiring and evaluating feedback from internal customers and deriving concrete measures Conception and creation of web-based training (WBT) and training concepts Care and further development of the social intranet page incl. design of target group-oriented contributions Analysis and evaluation of pilot projects in supplier capacity management to identify areas of action

Participation in the organisation and implementation of workshops and training events including Pre- and post-processing

Support in coordination with interface areas (e.g. quality, logistics, purchasing) Creation of presentations for internal bodies The activity can begin from June 2026.

Course in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or a comparable degree course Immatrikulation at a university Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Ideally, you have first practical experience within Mercedes-Benz AG or in the area of purchasing/capacity management based on internships, student work activities or completed vocational training Secure application knowledge in the MS Office package with special focus on MS Co-Pilot Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working Solution orientation Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate, giving the semester and proof of the regular study period.
