The Office for Digitization, Organization and IT is the central IT service provider within the state capital of Stuttgart. The site is located in the field of software engineering and technical application platforms with the focus on browsers. We actively contribute to supporting digitalization in the state capital of Stuttgart.

Thanks to you, the smooth operation of the city-wide browser is ensured, as you take care of its reliable management as an IT engineer. You ensure that the design and design of the browsers are implemented professionally throughout the life cycle Your tasks include 2nd level support in the browser environment Supporting the Citizen Developer for web technologies is one of your regular challenges You actively contribute to the fact that the IT services in the Browser theme remain up-to-date through design, testing, operation and continuous improvements You also ensure that requirements are implemented in technical solutions – including project-related activities in software engineering for the web environment A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

A completed study (Bachelor) in the field of computer science or in a comparable area First experiences in problem analysis and concept creation as well as a good understanding of complex, networked systems Experience in the realization of web applications, ideally with JavaScript Ideally experience in project-based work and in the treatment of security issues in the browser environment Experiences with the life cycle of different browsers (e.g. Firefox, Edge) and complex municipal structures are beneficial German language skills (C1 level)
