The Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change (LIB) is one of the major globally connected research museums of the Leibniz Association. In addition to excellent research on biodiversity and their change, we are driving the development of our extensive scientific collections with an international team and the latest technology. With our exhibition, mediation and communication work at our exhibition venues Museum Koenig Bonn and Museum der Natur Hamburg, we want to inspire nature and bring us with our research topics into current social policy discussions on biodiversity, climate change and the protection of ecosystems. A new integrated natural science museum is being created at the Hamburg site – a unique infrastructure project in the German research landscape. For the support of our existing buildings and the co-design of the new infrastructure we are looking for a dedicated

Facility management and building operations Central contact person for the coordination of repair and maintenance measures, in particular also in coordination with the Hamburg University Property Administration Planning, control and coordination of construction, rehabilitation, maintenance and maintenance measures by external service providers and craft enterprises Implementation of regular building and safety inspections and initiation of deficiencies Strategic and operational participation in the logistical control of the use of interim areas incl. Moving planning Participation in emergency and crisis management, in particular with regard to pest management Industrial and health protection Internal contact person for all questions of occupational health and safety Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, standards and safety standards, in particular in the field of occupational safety and fire protection in cooperation with external safety officers and the occupational physician Support for the creation of operational instructions, space and safety concepts and operating instructions and implementation of safety instructions Regular occupational safety and derivation of appropriate measures to prevent accidents Participation in future projects Contact person for the project taxer of the planned new building of an integrated natural science museum with regard to technical requirements Developing and defining workflows together with the LIB user groups for the new building Technical preparation and cooperation in tenders for facility management, in particular framework and service contracts

Completed training or studies in the field of facility management, building technology, supply technology, electrical engineering or comparable qualifications Professional experience in technical or infrastructural building management Knowledge of building technology, energy management and fire protection including relevant standards Knowledge of occupational health and safety, a qualification as a specialist in occupational safety is desirable, but can also be acquired with our support in a professional context. Organisational talent, structured, independent working and hands-on mentality Team skills, communication strength and solution-oriented thinking Safe handling of Microsoft Office Class B driving licence
