For over 100 years, the youth hostels have represented values that enrich life. As a non-profit association we operate 47 youth hostels in the most beautiful places in Baden-Württemberg. We create moments and experiences that remain in our head and go to heart. In a family atmosphere, we work daily to meet this goal. The Mannheim International Youth Hostel has 258 beds in 73 rooms. We create encounters and unforgettable experiences for school classes, families and groups. Our team is committed to making the guests feel comfortable in the youth hostel every day.

You cook healthy and balanced, delicious and economical for our guests. You pay attention to allergies and also enchant vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Of course, you also take over the goods usage planning, documentation and storage as well as the goods purchase. You ensure compliance, monitoring and control of the specified quality, safety and hygiene standards. You actively participate in the design and optimization of workflows.

You have a completed vocational training in the hotel industry or in the tourism sector and have ideally already professional experience You are host with passion and have a structured, targeted and solution-oriented way of working Team skills and social competence characterize you IT skills, especially in the area of hotel reservation systems (ideally ASSD) and experience in handling MS Office You have certain knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Other language skills are advantageous You are ready for a 5-day week and shift service
