The state educational institute Rheinland-Pfalz (PL) is a service facility of the state of Rheinland-Pfalz for advice and training and is aimed at Rhineland-Palatinate schools and teachers as well as all those involved in school.

The PL offers various IT services in the school context, including online-based applications, as well as platforms and network solutions. The eSchule24 portals are online-based applications, through which various projects, programs or The results are processed. The enrolled body deals with the integration of digital teaching and learning resources into the school book and the RLP educational portal. Projects control & design – you take responsibility for exciting software projects and introduce your ideas. Write code & evolve – whether frontend or backend: you work on practical solutions with modern technologies. Data maintenance – you develop and maintain relational databases so that everything is stable. Testing – you test the developed solutions in frontend and backend, for example by unit tests and automated testing methods. From the idea to the go-live – you are in the whole process: absorb, plan, develop, test, introduce and maintain requirements. In the team – you work closely with colleagues and create solutions for schools in Rhineland-Palatinate.

A study in the field of computer science, business informatics, natural sciences or engineering, or a completed training as a specialist informant with experience in practice. Experience in web development (Frontend & Backend) and no bareness to work on new topics (e.g. ASP.NET). Good basics in HTML, CSS, JavaScript – if you have already worked with frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js, the better. Interest in UX/UI and a sense of user-friendly solutions. Basic knowledge in project management (classical or agile) and desire to further develop this knowledge. A structured, independent way of working and enjoying team work. You bring good knowledge of German to exchange yourself safely and professionally in the team and with our partners – for example on C1 level.
